How a meeting is conducted

Meetings can be hosted by Go To Meeting subscribers. The maximum number of participants or attendees can be up to ten for the Standard version and up to two hundred if the Corporate version is used.

To be a meeting organizer you go to the Go To Meeting website and register a user name and password. The setup is quick and easy, it will take you a couple of minutes to complete. A small software module will be downloaded to your PC and you don't need to do any configuration. You can host a meeting by clicking the 'Host a Meeting' button on the website.

You can also send invites via Outlook or Instant Messenger. E-mailing using Outlook is easy due to a Go To Meeting plug-in for Outlook 2000 or later. GoToMeeting also works with any other e-mail client.

Each GoToMeeting e-mail invitation includes a link to your meeting. If it is the first time that invitees attend a meeting, they will be prompted to install the GoToMeeting software after clicking the link. They will then be directed to the host's desktop.

Attendees can also click the ' Join a Meeting’ button on the GoToMeeting web site. The software will download and, after identifying the meeting they want to join, attendees will be looking at the host's desktop.

Pricing

Payment plans are either monthly or annual subscriptions. For one flat fee subscribers can meet as often and as long as they want, without any concern that overage charges will occur.
